It's been a while since I've updated our MFW Adventures progress. We have had a blast these past few weeks for sure.
Here's Christopher Columbus week. We made The Niña, the Pinta, and the Santa Maria out of aluminum foil and natural materials. We used corn husks and leaves instead of traditional sails.
It was a lovely rainy day so our seasonal creek was flowing. We all had so much fun sailing these ships down the "river". I took a lot of pictures but unfortunately, the rain caused almost every single one to come out blurry. But this is at least a snapshot of them "sailing". LOL
This week has been delayed due to some health issues. We've been plugging away at the basics instead; handwriting, reading, phonics, and math mostly.
